Jay Kavanagh, Creative Director of Kavells, brings a blend of creativity and hands-on industry experience to the Weymouth-based digital design agency. His journey began at London’s Vibrant Studios, but it was his 17 years of managing an ecommerce business for a major UK retailer that really fine-tuned his skills. All the while, Jay has been striking a balance between artistic vision and practical know-how, providing clients with innovative design solutions.
Away from the digital drawing board, there’s nothing Jay enjoys more than a good game of badminton or rooting for his local football team, Weymouth FC. But it’s his two daughters who really keep him on his toes outside of work. With a life filled with creativity, sports, and family, Jay Kavanagh celebrates a well-rounded approach to life, which is reflected in his multifaceted role at Kavells.
Chris Wells is the strategic architect behind Kavells, a forward-thinking digital design agency tucked away in the heart of Weymouth, Dorset. With 15 years dedicated to the financial services industry under his belt, Chris has built a reputation for his insightful ability to provide collaborative solutions in competitive markets.
Chris completed his undergraduate studies in Economics at the University of Hull, UK, and his postgraduate studies in Gerontology at Kings College London, UK.
Beyond the professional sphere, Chris is a passionate art enthusiast. Working with established commercial artists he has built an impressive art collection and has made his mark on the local art scene as the founder of Saint Nics Gallery, a Gallery dedicated to ensuring that disadvantaged groups also have access to the enriching world of the arts. In all aspects of his life, Chris Wells seamlessly blends creativity, collaboration, and a genuine commitment to inclusivity.
Emilie Horne is the vibrant Website Administrator at Kavells, the Weymouth-based digital design agency. Although relatively new to the industry, Emilie’s enthusiasm and willingness to learn are infectious, and she has quickly become an integral part of the team. Her zest for mastering new tasks and attention to detail ensure that Kavells’ digital front always functions smoothly, effectively matching the agency’s innovative and creative output.
Emilie is not only dedicated to her role at Kavells but also finds joy in pursuits outside the digital sphere. She is an avid rugby fan, often spending her weekends cheering on Weymouth & Portland RFC and England. When she’s not following a match, Emilie dedicates her time to nurturing the next generation of performers, teaching at a local drama school. Her passion for the stage and the sport reveal a charismatic and lively side of Emilie, who is as much a keen learner in her personal life as she is in her professional role at Kavells.
Zoe Mitchell, Kavells’ Office Manager, ensures that the wheels of the agency keep turning. With an expansive background in administration, Zoe brings a wealth of experience to managing the day-to-day operations. She effortlessly juggles various roles and responsibilities, from streamlining workflows to maintaining office harmony, making her an indispensable part of the Kavells team.
Outside the office walls, Zoe keeps the pace up as an avid runner, finding in this pursuit a balance between stamina and tranquillity. Her commitment to fitness is rivalled only by her dedication to her son, who inspires her to stride ahead both personally and professionally. Zoe, with her multifaceted life as a skilled office manager, devoted mother, and passionate runner, embodies a blend of professionalism and personal motivation.
